Soy Isaac Mayor (Barcelona, 1986), artista de pintura abstracta y contemporánea afincado en Palma de Mallorca (Islas Baleares). Mi obra nace de una necesidad interior: crear para traducir lo que no siempre se puede decir con palabras. Pinto desde un lugar íntimo, donde el color, el silencio y la materia se convierten en lenguaje.
Desde niño sentí que las bellas artes formaban parte de mí. Esa sensibilidad también tiene raíz familiar: uno de mis abuelos fue pintor profesional en Barcelona, y siempre he percibido esa herencia como un impulso creativo que me acompañó desde el origen. Con 7 años inicié mi formación en la prestigiosa Academia d’Estanislau Vilajosana en Manresa (Barcelona), un espacio donde empecé a desarrollar mis primeras obras, entonces en pintura al óleo, guiado por un entorno artístico exigente y cercano, junto a las hijas artistas del reconocido pintor Estanislau Vilajosana i Guilà.
Mi formación en Humanidades ha moldeado mi mirada: me interesa la emoción, la percepción y el significado. Por eso mi pintura no pretende explicar; propone. Cada obra es un punto de encuentro entre mi mundo interior y la experiencia de quien observa.
Cuando pinto, el tiempo se detiene. Entro en un estado de concentración plena, casi meditativo, donde la intuición guía el gesto y la composición se construye desde el presente. Mi proceso se mueve entre la intención y la escucha: muchas veces la obra llega antes que la idea, y yo simplemente la acompaño hasta que encuentra su equilibrio.
Trabajo principalmente con pintura acrílica sobre lienzo, explorando colores, contrastes y texturas con una estética que se inclina hacia un minimalismo emocional: lo esencial como forma de intensidad. Aunque puedo abordar distintos registros, mi identidad se define con mayor fuerza en la abstracción contemporánea, donde la materia y la luz generan una atmósfera que invita a mirar sin prisa.
Mallorca y el Mediterráneo atraviesan mi lenguaje visual. El mar, la luminosidad y la calma de la isla se convierten en energía, ritmo y respiración dentro del cuadro. Ese vínculo podría resumirse en una idea que acompaña mi trabajo: “Alma mediterránea”.
Mi portfolio reúne una selección de obras originales pensadas para dialogar con coleccionistas, galerías, instituciones y personas particulares de cualquier lugar del mundo. Cada pieza es única, creada de forma irrepetible, y se entrega con su certificado de autenticidad, garantizando su procedencia y valor como obra artística.
Este espacio es una invitación a conocer mi trayectoria y, sobre todo, mi forma de entender la pintura: como una experiencia sensorial y emocional, contemporánea y atemporal a la vez. Una obra puede transformar un espacio, pero también puede acompañar a quien la elige. Ahí es donde, para mí, comienza lo verdaderamente importante.------I am Isaac Mayor (Barcelona, 1986), an abstract and contemporary artist based in Palma de Mallorca, in the Balearic Islands, Spain. My work stems from an inner need: to create as a way of translating what cannot always be expressed through words. I paint from an intimate place, where colour, silence and materiality become a language of their own.From an early age, I felt that the fine arts were an intrinsic part of who I am. This sensitivity also has its roots in my family: one of my grandfathers was a professional painter in Barcelona, and I have always regarded that artistic heritage as a creative impulse that has accompanied me from the very beginning. At the age of seven, I began my artistic training at the prestigious Acadèmia d’Estanislau Vilajosana in Manresa, Barcelona. It was there that I started developing my first works, initially in oil painting, within a demanding yet nurturing artistic environment, alongside the artist daughters of the renowned painter Estanislau Vilajosana i Guilà.My background in Humanities has profoundly shaped the way I see and understand the world. I am particularly interested in emotion, perception and meaning. For this reason, my painting does not seek to explain; it seeks to suggest. Each work becomes a meeting point between my inner world and the experience of the viewer.When I paint, time seems to stand still. I enter a state of complete concentration, almost meditative, in which intuition guides the gesture and the composition emerges entirely from the present moment. My creative process moves between intention and attentive observation: very often, the work arrives before the idea does, and I simply accompany it until it finds its own balance.I work primarily with acrylic paint on canvas, exploring colour, contrast and texture through an aesthetic that leans towards emotional minimalism: the essential as a form of intensity. Although my work can move across different visual registers, my artistic identity finds its strongest expression in contemporary abstraction, where materiality and light create an atmosphere that invites the viewer to slow down and look without haste.Mallorca and the Mediterranean are deeply embedded in my visual language. The sea, the island’s distinctive light and its sense of calm are transformed into energy, rhythm and breathing space within each painting. This connection can perhaps be summarised in an idea that runs throughout my work: “Mediterranean Soul.”My portfolio brings together a selection of original works created to establish a dialogue with collectors, galleries, institutions and private clients around the world. Each piece is unique and individually created, and is accompanied by a certificate of authenticity guaranteeing its provenance and its value as an original work of art.This space is an invitation to discover my artistic journey and, above all, my understanding of painting: as a sensory and emotional experience, both contemporary and timeless. A work of art can transform a space, but it can also become a companion to the person who chooses to live with it. For me, that is where what truly matters begins.------Ich bin Isaac Mayor (Barcelona, 1986), Künstler für abstrakte und zeitgenössische Malerei mit Lebensmittelpunkt in Palma de Mallorca auf den Balearen. Meine Arbeit entsteht aus einem inneren Bedürfnis heraus: zu schaffen, um das auszudrücken, was sich nicht immer in Worte fassen lässt. Ich male aus einem sehr persönlichen, inneren Raum heraus, in dem Farbe, Stille und Materialität zu einer eigenen Sprache werden.Schon als Kind hatte ich das Gefühl, dass die bildende Kunst ein wesentlicher Teil von mir ist. Diese Sensibilität hat auch familiäre Wurzeln: Einer meiner Großväter war professioneller Maler in Barcelona, und ich habe dieses künstlerische Erbe stets als einen kreativen Impuls empfunden, der mich von Anfang an begleitet hat. Im Alter von sieben Jahren begann ich meine künstlerische Ausbildung an der renommierten Acadèmia d’Estanislau Vilajosana in Manresa, Barcelona. Dort entstanden meine ersten Arbeiten, zunächst in Ölmalerei, in einem anspruchsvollen und zugleich sehr persönlichen künstlerischen Umfeld, gemeinsam mit den ebenfalls künstlerisch tätigen Töchtern des bekannten Malers Estanislau Vilajosana i Guilà.Mein Studium der Geisteswissenschaften hat meinen Blick auf die Welt entscheidend geprägt. Mich interessieren insbesondere Emotion, Wahrnehmung und Bedeutung. Deshalb möchte meine Malerei nicht erklären, sondern vielmehr Möglichkeiten eröffnen. Jedes Werk wird zu einem Begegnungspunkt zwischen meiner inneren Welt und der individuellen Erfahrung des Betrachters.Wenn ich male, scheint die Zeit stillzustehen. Ich trete in einen Zustand völliger Konzentration ein, beinahe meditativ, in dem die Intuition die Bewegung führt und die Komposition unmittelbar aus dem gegenwärtigen Moment heraus entsteht. Mein kreativer Prozess bewegt sich zwischen bewusster Absicht und aufmerksamem Wahrnehmen. Häufig entsteht das Werk noch vor der eigentlichen Idee, und ich begleite es lediglich so lange, bis es sein eigenes Gleichgewicht gefunden hat.Ich arbeite vorwiegend mit Acrylfarbe auf Leinwand und erkunde dabei Farben, Kontraste und Texturen. Meine Ästhetik bewegt sich in Richtung eines emotionalen Minimalismus: das Wesentliche als Ausdruck von Intensität. Auch wenn ich unterschiedliche bildnerische Ausdrucksformen aufgreifen kann, findet meine künstlerische Identität ihren stärksten Ausdruck in der zeitgenössischen Abstraktion, in der Materialität und Licht eine Atmosphäre schaffen, die dazu einlädt, innezuhalten und ohne Eile zu betrachten.Mallorca und das Mittelmeer prägen meine Bildsprache auf besondere Weise. Das Meer, das charakteristische Licht und die Ruhe der Insel verwandeln sich in meinen Arbeiten in Energie, Rhythmus und Raum zum Atmen. Diese Verbindung lässt sich vielleicht am besten in einer Idee zusammenfassen, die meine Arbeit begleitet: „Mediterrane Seele“.Mein Portfolio vereint eine Auswahl originaler Werke, die dazu bestimmt sind, einen Dialog mit Sammlern, Galerien, Institutionen und privaten Kunstliebhabern auf der ganzen Welt zu schaffen. Jedes Werk ist ein Unikat, individuell und unwiederholbar geschaffen, und wird mit einem Echtheitszertifikat geliefert, das seine Herkunft und seinen Wert als originales Kunstwerk bestätigt.Dieser Raum ist eine Einladung, meinen künstlerischen Weg kennenzulernen und vor allem meine Auffassung von Malerei zu entdecken: als eine sinnliche und emotionale Erfahrung, zugleich zeitgenössisch und zeitlos. Ein Kunstwerk kann einen Raum verändern, aber es kann auch zu einem Begleiter für den Menschen werden, der sich bewusst dafür entscheidet. Genau dort beginnt für mich das, was wirklich von Bedeutung ist.
